Q-Teatteri

Q-theatre is a professional theatre founded in 1990 by freelance actors in Töölö, Helsinki. In October 2005, Q-theatre was chosen as the Theatre of the Year.

Q-theatre is made up of its 50 members. The members are freelance actors, directors, lighting designers, costume designers, set designers, photographers, graphic designers, playwrights, producers, and theatre technicians. Q has a permanent staff of three in the technical department and five in the office. The Q-theatre ensemble is led by artistic director Juho Mantere. The purpose of the ensemble is to add more continuity to artistic work and enable the increase of individual plays' performance frequencies. The ensemble works at Q-theatre under freelance contracts.

Tampereen Komediateatteri

The Tampere Comedy Theatre is located in the city center, easily accessible by public transport. The atmospheric, castle-like Comedy Theatre Festival Hall evokes admiration both from the outside and the inside. Nearby are many attractions: Tampere Cathedral, the central fire station, the Museum Center Vapriikki, the legendary Hotel Tammer, and of course, the beautifully foaming Tammerkoski rapids. Over the years, the Comedy Theatre has produced a very diverse and fun cultural offering for all ages. No wonder it has broken attendance records! In the words of Theatre Director Panu Raipia: "However, the theatre's result is not numbers, but emotions – laughter and tears."
